Re: OTP - Traveling by air

we last took food a couple of years ago, not knowing if anthing would be open
in the airports on Xmas Day. We just went with some apples and granola bars
and had no problem getting them through. My mom and sister took string
cheese (which i personally dislike) with us to Germany last year with no
problems.

the mos recent report I heard had non-alcoholic drinks still available at no
cost on board, but you might be better off buying a bottle of water inside
security. Come to think of it - I wonder if you could just take an empty
water bottle through security, then fill it from an airport water fountain
instead of having to spend the money on a bottle that probabl won't be
recycled anyway.

The big thing is no liquids Carole however we were allowed to buy bottles

so long as we weren't crossing the canada/us border and it was on their
"list" of fruits and veggies forbidden (like it doesn't all come from the
US
in winter anyhow.)

Thanks, Kelly. I don't eat a lot of stuff now, so I thought I'd pack
some fresh fruit and cheese to take on board. All they offer on American
is sandwiches with deli meats, etc. and I just don't eat that stuff
anymore. I figured I'd have to buy water after going through security.
I'm assuming I can still get water on the flight, or do they make you
pay for that too? I have to take meds during the flight so I'll need water.
