Kate, I find myself thinking along the same lines as Gary. I've lived with
Generalized Anxiety all my life, and have begun to wonder if that isn't what
part of your avoidance is about.

I would happily share my amazing PCP with you. You'd just have to move down
here, cuz I'm not taking a chance on him moving up there.:)
