Re: hip arthritis/bed foam pad

I get several different catalogs in the mail that have the "wedges" you hand
your legs over, but I haven't bought one yet. They look comfortable. Dr.
Leonard is one catalog, Pro Health is another. But, every night I do use a
small pillow between my knees while sleeping on my side. It's little things
like that we can do to help ourselves. And heating pads? I couldn't live
without them ;-) Nanny

If you haven't yet gotten an answer:

Do you mean:
l. the pillow for between your knees when you sleep on your side with
knees bent or

2. The pillow like a wedge or triangle for when you sleep on your back and
you put it under your knees?

Hey Nanny, if you know of any places that have those wedge pillows that
you
can put between the legs to help with the hip alignment would you let me
know. I have one but it is all worn out and I have been looking for one
for
years now. I would appreciate it, if you could pass it along to me of
where
to look for them.

I don't get any catalogs anymore, I used to like looking at them and
wishing. ;0)

Jo the squirrely one
I am nuts about you.

You know what? I get catalogs that show all sorts of helpful aids for
pain and handicaps. There are so many different objects that I would
like
to try that there would be no room in bed for my husband ;-) The big
purchase I'm really wanting is a king-size bed, so I will have room to
turn around without bumping into hubby. Also, I'd like one of those
foam
wedge pillows which allow one to hang your legs over, to take pressure
off
the hips and back. Sounds like something Charlie would benefit from.

So many things I could use, but when added up, so expensive. Maybe I
could just budget in one item each paycheck. Nanny
