Yes I'm hanging in there. The bone pain is pretty bad and it seems to be
24/7. There are times I can't sleep because of it, but that's what my
recliner's for. The Darvocet works sometimes, but not others. I have another
chemo on Friday so we'll see if it changes anything.
Hugs, DeeTee

Thank goodness DeeTee. Goodness knows we must have enough of this stored
up.
Are you hanging in there? I had to take my bracelet off yesterday but it
was in my bag.

I feel your pain. I had to take large doses of a pred-like steroid for my
first two chemos and stayed awake all night the first night, then took it
early in the evening for the second one and was able to get some sleep
about 2 AM for the second. Then the oncologist decided I was responding so
well I don't have to take it anymore. They still give me a hefty dose in
the IV with the chemo, but I am over it by bedtime.
Hang in there, Hon, and good luck with the rituxan.

Well I am off to my second rituxan iv today - hopefully we can get it in
all the way today and not have to repeat this crap tomorrow. I took 45
mg of prednisone before bed as ordered last night. guess what?? No
sleep, bitchy as hell! My face loves 45 mg of prednisone - that doesn't
help. But it is great for the junk reading. Read 2 books and am 1/2 way
through the Fiery Cross by Gabaldon as well. I get 100 ml of solumedrol
by drip at 8:30 this am and if the rituxan doesn't go in all the way
today then we repeat this tonight 45 and 100 tomorrow.
Jo - if this continues tomorrow tell your husband I am coming to visit
you tomorrow. Will give a whole new meaning to dark chocolate eating,
salt craving, witchy woman! He will love you all the more after that.
My husband is very nicely treading lightly this morning.
On the move side we are getting there. The house looks a mess on this
side but almost all the boxes are packed and most of the cupboards are
empty. The fridge is empty with the exception of what is needed until
next monday (which is very very little). The housekeeper can clean that
tomorrow as it has to be stored in our garage until the new house.
Upstairs bathroom and closets are emptied and Pat just has to empty 2
bookcases and his office. My sewing room has one more box to pack but i
am still quilting. The rental house has the dishes unpacked into the
cupboards, fridge loaded and the clothes in the closet (oh and most of
the sewing room has started to be unpacked. Getting there!)
So all is sort of well. Wish me luck today. Might not be able to post
today but by tomorrow night should be okay.
Kelly
