Re: Introduction

Stinkweed, during the Korean "Conflict", my husband was stationed at then
"Camp" McCoy. He was a cook so he was on 24 and off 24, from noon to noon.
We were there during the winter and his tires would freeze to the ground and
he would have to pour boiling water on them to get unstuck. He threatened
not to come home again untill spring! We had a two year old and a new baby
born in Georiga in September and he took us back on Christmas day. We left
Georgia wearing short sleeves and when we got to Sparta, Wisconsin it was 20
below. Diapers would freeze on the line outside and then I'd bring them in
to dry. We lived in the house with an older couple who were so sweet. But
she sure spoiled my son; she would not let him cry. If he started, she
would come get him and rock him and sing to him, and taught our 2 year old
daughter lots of nursery rhymes. I have very good memories of living in
Wisconsin. We enjoyed going to the Dells.

I live in Wisconsin and on a lake and I absolutely love it here, it has
been a dream I have always had and it was able to be fulfilled, it is so
tranquil looking out at the lake. We have a boat and the kids come when
they can to fish. I feel so priveledged to be here. I have a lot faith
in God although I have been delt a lot of things in my life time, I'm
sure God has a reason for all of it. I can get depressed pretty easy and
I don't like going there, that is really bad for me. I hope I have
covered about everything, if you all have any questions I will try to
ans. them. Right now I am going through some pretty bad migraines, I have
been having them daily and am under doctors care for them.

Hi Stinkweed,

What lake are you on? I used to live on Pewaukee with a Delafield mailing
address.
Absolutely loved the lifestyle and miss it to this day. It's been about 20
yrs since I lived there.
