Re: Very OTP: Computer Problems

Don't know much about Norton per se. does it include a pop-up blocker and/or
firewall? The pop-up blocker may be preventing sign-in windows. The firewall
might not be set for your sights to be in a "trusted" zone.

On Saturday I downloaded Norton Antivirus 2006 and since then have had
nothing but problems. It seems as if the program changed something in
my computer, and so my yahoo messenger does not work, websites where
you have to sign in do not work, and certain buttons do not work when
you click on them . For example, even in the NAV program itself, I can
not get it to load bully because nothig happens when i click on the
word "Next". I wanted to do a system restore, but i can not even get
that to open.

The support that norton offered was useless. They also included a
statement to the effect that maybe my computer problems were
"Coincidence". I will probably have to hire a tech to figure this out,
but wondered if anything similar had happened to others, and if so,
how did you fix it?
