I have been taking Glucosamine now for six months with no results.

Does anyone know how long it takes to work ?

From what my RD said, it may or may not be helpful. One large study showed that
it seemed to work best for those who are badly affected with OA. I tried
stopping it for two weeks then went back on because I felt I was having more
pain. But arthritis is such a weird disease flitting around from joint to joint
and having good days and bad days I find it really hard to judge. I would think
if no positive results after 6 months it would be questionable if it is working.
I am presuming you have an RD who is addressing your MS.

I had to smile about the way you describe RA. Every time I go to my
doctor and he asks me how I'm doing, I want to ask him "right this
minute?"
TRying to track what works and doesn't with RA is like trying to catch
a greased pig. Just when you think you've figured it out, oops!

Ain't that the truth. My pain is very mild compared to what some of
you are going through, but it is still hard to determine what works
and what doesn't. I guess I'm like most people, if I feel fairly
good, I ain't gonna rock the boat and change medications or non
prescription supplements.
