Ashley,
It is good to hear from you. I have been thinking of you also but spaced
your name when I was asking for updates.
I hope things will soon settle down for you and Dylan.
It sure does sound like you have a plate full that you are doing and dealing
with. ;-)
I can't wait to hear about your garden being in bloom. I love to hear about
garden stories since I can't garden anymore.
I feel for you with the fms and hypothyroid. I know that is miserable to
deal with but glad to hear it is staying under control. I hope the migraines
continue to keep getting better. I hope you are wearing sunglasses when
outside and using a glare thingy for your puter. I read where that helps
with migraines.
I feel for you with that flu. I know how it messes with the asthma. I hope
ou are doing much much better with it now.
Oh that sounds so cool about the Caribbean honeymoon. Can I go along. LOL
;-)
Wishing you the best in all things.

It seems that every time I try to keep up with ASA I fall more and more
behind! This year has started out in whirlwind form and I don't think it
will settle down until after my wedding. Dylan and I are both working and
planning our wedding, plus I'm taking 12 credit hours at the college.
Needless to say, neither one of us has time for much of anything else!
I'm surviving my first winter in the midwest, although everyone says it
has been a fairly nice one. I like the weather when it's in the 20s - 40s
and the snow isn't that bad either. It does get quite chilly when it drops
below zero! I'm looking forward to spring and seeing the sunshine again.
It will also be nice to see something GREEN! I can't wait to see our
garden bloom this year, I put a lot of work into planting bulbs and mums
in the fall.
My FMS and hypothyroid are staying mostly under control, but drastic
weather changes usually cause a sudden flare. My current medications are
steady and working which is a continuing blessing. I don't know what I
would do right now if I slipped into a flare... I have too much going on!
I developed chronic migraines this winter and am now on medication three
times daily to prevent them. I was very incapacitated for awhile, but now
I'm down to around 1 migraine per week. It's not great, but it's livable.
I see my doctor in a few weeks to re-access my medications.
I got the flu a few weeks ago and it was killer. It wreaked havoc on my
asthma and I went back to using my nebulizer twice daily for about a week
to help with my congested and wheezing lungs. I was luckily able to take a
week off of school and work to recuperate while I was sick which was a
blessing. I'd probably still be sick if I had to push through it all.
Dylan is currently getting over the flu and we're both run down and
exhausted. Somehow we push through, although at times giving up seems like
an easier answer.
In hindsight, I wish I had hired a wedding planner to help me. I think
that would make my life much more stress-free, but nearly everything is
worked out. We're currently trying to book our honeymoon. We wanted to go
to Hawaii, but now we're considering the Caribbean. I just want to lay out
on a beautiful beach, watch the ocean, and drink margaritas!
That's all for now!
Hugs,
Ashley
