Vick revisited

After having the entire weekend to digest the Vick acquisition from a
football standpoint, it makes a lot of sense. Realistically, if McNabb
sustains any major injury, the season is effectively over, the Super Bowl is
out of the question. On the other hand, if they can get Vick ready, he is
capable of getting the team through a series of games, and winning. Vick
has actually won NFC playoff games, including the first road team to win a
playoff game at Lambeau Field. Kevin Kolb is probably never going to
develop into an NFL starter, and Feeley is an emergency QB at best.
Acquiring Vick is the best insurance policy against a McNabb injury, for a
team with Super Bowl ambitions. Based on the attrition along the OL, this
is a good season for that insurance policy.
