Hey Pablo:

I'm glad you showed up because now I'm prompted to make 2 more
predictions.

1. No matter WHO they draft (including GOD), Charlie is gonna have a
problem with the pick.

2. No matter WHO they draft (including ME), Pablo will proclaim it to
be THE pick of the draft.

I've always said that you gotta be somewhat of a whack job to be an
Eagles' fan. IF Charlie, Pablo and me are representative of Eagles'
fans, do you have a problem with my statement? Didn't think so. C-ya.

Ha! Are you trying to say I might be drinking that drink that the tards in this
group are always talking about? ;)

I do lean that way on this group, but that is mostly to balance out all of the negativity
here.

This is why "ignorance is bliss."

I don't (closely) follow the college game, so I don't know the young players who are coming up. I don't pay much attention to the draft, and usually find out who the Eagles have picked during the evening newscasts. I don't listen to WIP much anymore, so I don't hear the callers arguing about what hasn't happened yet or what the future might hold. The pundits will tell me whether the Eagles have drafted well or not, and are usually wrong.

Somewhere around July and August, I start to pay attention. I usually even take a day trip up to training camp, although lately I've spent two hours or less up there (it's hot; it's crowded; not much really going on). When the preseason finally rolls around, I've got my roster printed out and start drawing lines through names as they are released.

In the first game of the season, I'm finally tuned in. This is, after all, when it really counts. All of the woulda, shoulda, coulda is over, and what happens on the field is what it's all about. Who had a good game, who screwed up, and who made a significant impact (positive or not)?

Right now, April is all about preparing my property for the growing season (and scouting out any signs of poison ivy), polishing and buffing the Mustangs for another summer of fun (and it looks like summer starts TODAY) and finally getting that overdue haircut, so I can enjoy driving top-down!

If the Eagles completely screw up the draft today, I'll never know it. Ignorance is bliss.
