Jeffrey Lurie's State Of The Team Address

Jeffrey Lurie declared, "we are going for it, right now." Lurie believes
that Donovan McNabb is the best QB in the NFC, contingent upon McNabb being
100% healthy. Therefore, according to Lurie, the Eagles are instant
contenders. Lurie reminded the press corps that every team is tied at 0-0
right now.

Just out of curiosity, I wonder where Lurie ranks McNabb compared with the
AFC QBs, especially since Donovan will likely be traded to an AFC team, next
year.

As for questions, Lurie deferred all football related questions to Andy
Reid, all contract related questions to Joe Banner, and all CBA related
questions to Roger Goodell.

In my opinion, Lurie was terrific. His attitude was proactive, he was
loaded with enthusiasm, and he had something positive to say about every
person and every topic.
