As much as I would like a big RB, second to LB is once again a BIG DT to
plug up the middle to stop the run and help the DE's & LB's become more
effective.
Third would be a safety. Dawk probably has a good 1-3 solid years left and I
think Consadine can get better, I also think Mikell is a solid player even
if he isn't an every down player.
What do you guys think ?
This is not really a direct reply to the post, as you acknowledge
there are greater needs. But so many in here think 250lb rbs with
great hands just grow on trees. Not only that, but I think some in
here would use the first pick for a backup RB, as long as he was fat.
I'm all for a big back, but it has to be the right player. Funny how
many in here think simply plugging a big body in the backfield
guarantees 2-3 yards when you need it.
