If Jeremy Bloom has 5 TD's of 75+ yards, this season, he will be a hero.
As for money, he will be paid the minimum salary for 4 years, and he will
receive less than $200,000 signing bonus.
Trent Cole (2005, 5th round) signed for 4 years, minimum salary all 4 years,
that included $173,000 signing bonus. Scott Young (2005, 5th round) signed
for 4 years, minimum salary all 4 years, that included $0.00 signing bonus.
Thomas Tapeh (2004, 5th round) signed for 4 years, minimum salary all 4
years, that included $140,000 signing bonus.

Make the team? This isn't a guy you can put on the practice squad.
And I still don't get the "almighty dollar" comment though, if he holds
out
for more money I'll be pretty shocked. He'll be cheaper than the guys
doing
the job now, so that is in his favor. ??
He needs to improve our kick and punt return games this year. That'll be
his job, and there is little chance he won't. He'll definitely contribute
more on offense in a few select plays than the others.
