I'd be surprised if he is anything close to the javon walker he was

It's going to happen, but a 4th round pick my ass. It'll be a pick
this
year and likely a conditional pick. It'll get done, Andy's wanted
Javon
from
the year he was drafted, much like he wanted Darren Howard all these
years.
It'll get done.
JP
I holding you responsible if this goes the route of Bentley.
What players have Andy's Eagles acquired via trade? I don't see the
Walker
thing happening.

Movement via trade is rare compared to other leagues in general.
Walkers situation is the typical NFL trade situation however, very
unhappy and demanding to be set free/ refusing to report etc. That at
least puts the Eagles on deck, a WCO veteran with a huge upside.
Remember that Owens was acquired via a trade. (A three way trade no
less)
A three way trade no less, and Denver was involved in a three way trade
this
year as well. It's complete fantasy assumption, but Lelie to Denver -
Walker to Philly - Pinkston to Denver (and then he gets cut), the picks
get
worked out as well with GB. Then Philly swapping with Denver in the 1st
round, giving Denver the first shot at Chad Jackson? You never know, like
I
just said though, one team will get Walker, one will get Chad Jackson, and
it looks like the Eagles fans want Jackson in the draft right now.
I like Jackson, but he's not even my favorite Chad. Walker is young but has
some seasoning and won't require nearly the amount of assimilation that a
rookie will. Walker frees them up to pursue a real OLB.
Andy was willing to be aggressive in that scenario and Walker has
much more legitimate gripes then Owens did. No reason to think that
they won't at least give it the ole college try.
I think the Eagles are aggressive when the talent level of the player
involved is at a top tier level. They just aren't aggressive with players
they deem as average or replaceable.
JP
Where does that put JW? Slow to come along the first couple seasons,
explodes in the third.
