I disagree. He's done more than run his mouth. He's missed OTA's, which
are valuable in helping the team get its timing down. And, if you've
ever been in an environment such as a playing a team sport or being in
the military, you know that "running your mouth" can seriously,
adversely effect the team dynamic. Especially when you start taking
potshots at the guy who is the leader of the team.

If you've spent anytime at all in Philly, you realize that there is a
little more nuance to our surly reputation. The fans will not boo him
because he wants a new contract. The fans will boo him because of the
way he's gone about it. Slamming McNabb and weeping on TV because you
can't find a way to stretch 12.5 million bucks.

You know, Donovan McNabb must laugh his ass off everytime he thinks of
Owens demeaning him for being a "company man" (or...perhaps code for
"Uncle Tom"??). McNabb the company man is an exemplary leader on his
team and in his community. No matter what he feels about a subject, he
invariably takes the high road. In all matters pertaining to football,
he lets his actions on the field speak. And what has it gotten him?
Probably the bulk of the 108 million dollar contract he signed in 2002
and about five million a year in endorsements. By the time "the company
man" is fifty years old, he could very well be a billionaire, while TO
will still be yapping about how he was "disrespected". TO is turly a
dumbass if he comes out without learning anything from his qb.
