When KC got down to the 5 yard line at the end of the game, I think they
got an extra down. First play from scriimage - the fade that sailed over
the reciever's head. the next play - second down - was the one that
bounced off of Bowe's hands (should have been a game tying catch, but he
was off all day). Now, the next time KC lined up, it should have been
third down. But the anouncers said second down, the marker was never
changed. That was the play that they tried to run LJ off tackle. But KC
got two more plays to try to tie the game. The pass to Gonzales taht was
deflected at the goal line; and the final throw to the front corner of the
end zone that got broken up (by Hobbs I think). NOw, by my count, that's
five downs. and nobody seems to have caught it. Not even BB.
Did anyone else notice this?
Marc
Yes, I noticed. The Pats apparently called a time out, that is the
rumor.
