Nonsense. Shaq's a public figure and when he takes the stage with a
video camera rolling, and starts dropping f-bombs and the n-word and
calling out another public figure with racist remarks it is the
*definition* of news.
ESPN is for idiots. If you don't like how they cover the news watch
something else, but don't claim that something isn't newsworthy simply
because of how they covered it. That's like tuning in to the weather
channel and complaining that they cover the weather. You're buying
into the spin of Shaq's apologists. He opened his yap and he made
news. The message that people *should* be gleaning from this incident
is that high profile multi-millionaire black athletes shouldn't be
playing into ghetto stereotypes--and people shouldn't be tolerant of
it when they do. Shaq just acted like the word he dropped--
classless. He deserves the negative attention that he is getting.

Well said.
low class, overpaid, self-proclaimed celebrities who publicly show
their lack of sophistication is not "news".
