If you take into account the number of plants active in the world and the
number of disasters like Chernoble <sp>, I'd say this is a viable
alternative for clean energy, and it isn't like there is any shortage of
targets in the US for Bin Laden in either case.
Nuclear power plants offer the cheapest and cleanest way to generate
energy. And if you put in the necessary safeguards, including
security, the extra cost will more than pay itself off in the short as
well as the long run
.
