No, he would not be as good. That being said, QB is a bit different
than the other positions. The issues at hand are things like how
guards back then were smaller than some safeties are now.
This is laughable. He's a better natural passer and thrower than
anyone playing quarterback today. What component of Marino's game
would be hurt by playing today? I mean, is his arm not good enough to
hit tight sports in todays game? Is his release too slow by todays
standards? Is his footspeed not up to the level of the two best
quarterbacks today, Brady and Manning? Receivers are more open and
quarterbacks are hit less than ever before. If you're going to make a
statement like this, it's better to give an acutal reason, rather than
say, um, bigger/stronger now...that's going to affect the quarterback.
