What's laughable? I gave you the reasons why the 85 Bears couldn't
compete with todays teams. Why do you think athletes of 25 years ago could?

The Bears had some GREAT players even by todays standards and the
Dolphins have NO great players except for the aging Jason Taylor,
maybe Ronnie Brown when he's healthy and Ricky Williams when he's not
smoking dope

They wouldn't be able to stop Walter Payton or Matt Suhey, they
wouldn't be able to cover Willie Gault, and the Bears defense would
absolutely DESTROY the 07 Dolphins "offense".

Do you think that the 07 Dolphins could beat the 85 Dolphins in a head-
to-head match up?

First off, Where did I say they'd beat them. I said they would give them
a game. The 85 Bears offensive line would be overpowered by the
Dolphins. Payton wouldn't even get the ball before the D would be on
him. Gault was indeed fast but the pressure would be again a factor.
Mcmahon would be throwing blindly. LB'ers of today are as big, faster
and more powerful than lineman of those days.


OK, you have your opinion, and I have mine, and as a Dolphins fan, I'm
telling you that the 85 Bears and 85 Dolphins would destroy the 07
Dolphins. They don't even have a starting QB for crying out loud. And
Marino, Duper, Clayton and Moore would have an absolute field-day with
the 07 "secondary".
