I understand The Sports Guy is the ultimate homer, but this is the most
complete account of the travesty in Indy. This is the 1st time I hear
about the Welker catch to ice the game. I'm not sure if it happened or
not.

Great column. I haven't been able to watch the game again because
the
whole thing pissed me off to no end. You know it's bad when friends
from
NY call to say, "The Pats are screwed.... the NFL is going to make sure
they lose.... no matter what they have to do."
An email from another friend said, "You can kiss that undefeated
season goodbye..... the NFL has obviously told the refs to make sure it
doesn't happen."
I'd love to stuff a football down Goodell's throat right now and
watch him choke on the frickin' thing.

I don't think there's a conspiracy. Incompetence rules in this world. The
refs are probably not as well trained as they should be, and their
accountability is questionable at best, so there should be no surprise that
as a whole they're an incompetent group.

And on any given Sunday you're going to get bad calls.
But for the FANATICS this is life. Or Fantasy life......

take some of your own advice. *you* have posted more on this topic,
and engaged in far more whining about those you disagree with, than
anyone else in here. good grief - if you have nothing other than
blanket dismissals to offer, *drop it*. like i said, you've surpassed
tjm as most annoying and repetitive poster. nobody's making you read
this stuff, nobody's making you reply to it. you act like you're being
persecuted, when the truth of the matter is you're a pathetic,
attention-starved little twit who is posting here only because they're
a *fanatic* of themselves, first, last and always, and you enjoy
playing devil's advocate ad nauseum because you equate people replying
to you, even in a negative way, as a positive in your narcissistic
little mind. you're a pats fan in the same way tjm is.

And your opinion is so important to me.

without addressing a single point i made. *i'm* right about you,
aren't i? and yeah, you cared enough to reply - so my opinion does
matter to you. or, more importantly, the attention for your
narcissistic little mind. you hold a mirror in front of you everywhere
you go, don't you?

And no...you're little rant won't stop me from posting.

or even get you to stop and think, like any sane, rational person
might do. obviously, you're neither.

And like all idiots you can't even take your own advise.

yeah, i'm the one with a record number of posts on this ng in the last
week, all saying exactly the same thing - "look at me!"
