Well sure, stats are what they are and we're bound to find to what we're looking for through them, but at the same time, they're not completely meaningless either. Not that this is your suggestion. Still, against that defense which was pretty fresh in the first half, Maroney putting together runs on +7, stuff, two yard gain and so forth while shortening the game helped the team win. I don't think this should be dismissed. IOW, the offense was hardly one dimensional.
