After talking to an electrical engineer friend, he said that most likely
teh only real difference between this and a much more expensive one is
initial QC on the part of the manufacturer. IOW, he figured a higher rate
of dead cables, but that if the cable is 'fine', it'd be no diff then
the higher end ones.
I think that is the cheapest you'll find.
