Tom should be there.
It is his first child and he should be there for the birth. It is an
opportunity that he won't get a second chance at. You only get one
"first baby." First babies are hard to predict anyway. The baby may
not even come "on time," considering that Gisele is a bit older so I
don't know what Gisele is squawking about.

More than likely the baby won't be born on time. Especially if this
is her first.
