Infact I would do one more name change and leave it as it is - but if someone starts
to give me
crap again its gonna start again.........is this fair?

That just sounds like you're holding the ng hostage.

why should anyone else be able to post off topic if I cant?

Why
not offer to do this unilaterally through the draft (end of
the month).

see my comments below

See how things go. If it really does cut down
on the noise level, because everyone except Mr. Dude follows
your example, then we'll know. People may even thank you.

Mr Dude needs to stay on topic also. Why should Mr Dude be an exception?

I grant an exception to Mr. Dude, 'cause he is operating in
a whole orthogonal plane that just happens to intersect with
this space.

Copy and paste is my way of participating, I dont think thats a bad thing.
Not everyone gets to see all the Pats news.

If you can get everyone to agree we have peace!

If you agree let me know - that goes for EVERYONE!!

I like the cut/paste summaries, since I don't have to go to
multiple sources to get the latest updates. That's actually
why I originally subscribed to this ng ten years ago. I
haven't really participated in this thread, because I don't
know if I've posted anything on topic in the last five years
- mostly just lurk.

In all seriousness I will do my best - I mean that - to not post any off topic
material for the rest of this month, - I ask everyones help if someone does post an off
topic post you will agree to remind them - not flaming - that the group does not allow
off topic posts. NO EXCEPTIONS! I would ask that any off topic posts, other than to
remind the person doing the posting, not be replied to.

During this time I will post ONLY Patriot or football related articles.

Is this fair?
