Borges' dislike for Belichick is so transparent at this point that it
colors everything he writes about football. It's already been pointed
out here how he lauded Adalius Thomas as the "best bargain" in the
free agent pool on Friday, then trashed his signing on Sunday.
I almost wonder if Belichick has been diddling his wife.
It's probably not going to help that he's suspended for two months.
He will return to the Globe even more bitter and beset by whatever
demons are haunting him than he already is. It's really bizarre,
because when he isn't grinding his axe, he can make some interesting
observations about football.
But as for now, I'm just sitting back and enjoying the schadenfreude.
