Tedy Bruschi will be back to play next season.
“There’s never been any decision. I never had a doubt. I’m coming
back,” said Bruschi last night at the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston
where he received the Wish Hero Award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation
of Mass. “I’m ready to play,” the veteran linebacker said, squelching
talk that he may retire. “I’m more hungry now than I’ve ever been.”
Bruschi also was excited about playing with prize free agent
linebacker Adalius Thomas, who signed with the Pats yesterday.

... You're right in that I'm not worried about the LB situation, and more specifically about Bruschi, whom I think will be fine for another year or two. ... Granted, both Seau and Bruschi are slower, older and will need to be monitored carefully and protected by Pees and BB, but to reiterate something I've said a few weeks ago, you just can't past how well these old warriors played this past season in various situations ranging from run stopping to underneath coverage. ...
