It's illegal to own sparklers in Jersey. Sparklers. When I was a young'un,
third degree sparkler burns were considered character builders. In the great
state of New Jersey they're contraband. I weep for NJ's little, pre-voting
folks. Getting your 5 year old ass kicked by an overzealous State Trooper
for running in your yard with a sparkler has to leave a lasting impression.
