I rented an apartment in a farily new building. On move-out day I spent
eight solid hours cleaning the place top to bottom, left it in exactly the
same condition as it was when I moved in, so they'd have no reason to keep
the deposit. I got most of the depost back, except "$75 for cleaning."
There was absolutley *nothing* left for them to clean. To do it over
again, I'd leave the place dirty and let them charge another $75.
Two words: Walk Through.
