Re: OT 12 million

..
Consider the cost and logistics of forcibly removing every last man,
woman and child in New York from their homes and jobs. Then double the
amount of people and spread them throughout the country. I ain't
paying for that, especially if they'll be back the day after they're
deported.
Consider the costs you're paying to give them health care,
housing, feed them, etc.

It's alot more than it would be to deport them.

So what are you going to do, send them all notes? "Would
you please go now?"...make a national announcement? The
illegals have 2 choices, go back willingly now or risk getting
caught and go back then. Either way there's no difference
so they're going to stay. This means they have to be rounded
up, held in detention camps and driven, probably by a fleet
of busses, back to the border where a contigent from the
Mexican army is waiting. So what do we do now? Declare
war on the Mexicans? Brilliant! We kick their ass and dump
busloads of illegals in Mexico. They have no food, no shelter
and a dirty river, but the busses keep coming. How many do
you want to dump over there? 25,000, 250,000? There's 12
million of them here. Isn't this great? We have now declared
war on our neighbor and created a modern day death camp for
everyone from to the fit and elderly to children. There isn't a
country on the planet that would support what we did and the
international media is having fits about us.

Even if we could pull something as idiotic as this off, the cost
would be astronomical. We would need trained task forces to
round everybody up. Do you have any idea how many people
21 million is? We'd have to start off with at least 200,000 LEOs.
Infrastructure needs to be setup. Massive databases with full
nationwide access will have to be created to compare illegal
passports, greencards, liscenses etc. Now how do we know
who's who? How many legal Mexicans are there? Maybe
another 20 million? They'll get checked out too simply because
of their appearance.

You have to think things through. It's so politically macho to just
say deport them. It would be a massve and inhuman undertaking.
