IMostly true, but explain "I, Robot." I'm not exaggerating one bit when
would've pulled my hairsay the only thing it had in common with the original work was the title
and the names of some of the characters (and the obligatory three laws).
I didn't read the book, but the movie "I, Robot" was horrible. I probably
out if I read the book.
The story they developed for "I, Robot" never appeared in any of Asimov's
robot stories. It was completely made up by whoever wrote the script, and
wasn't based on anything. An original, if you will. The only thing they
used from Asimov was the "three laws" which were mentioned twice in the
movie and the names of the scientists. In fact, the "I, Robot" book was
actually a collection of several short stories, some of them not even taking
place on Earth.
