Well, you obviously hated it and I obviously disagree... but let me give
you a nickel's worth of free advice: When watching a movie based on a book
(or, in this case, a comic book) let the movie stand (or fail) on its own.
Don't be constantly comparing it to the comic book and criticizing any
inconsistencies, no matter how big or small.

Keep your 5 cents, the butchery was too great to ignore. Anyway, the character development was its
greatest downfall. The rest just followed suit.

If the Beast holds a certain role in the comics but a different role in the
movies, don't hold that against the movie. If the Juggernaut is not a
mutant in the comics but it a mutant in the movie, don't hold that against
the movie. If Magneto is more cold and callous in the movie than he would
be in the comic, don't hold that against the movie.

More butchery that can't be ignored. Magneto would never sacrifice mutants in that way.Humans are
pawns Mutants are superior beings. Its way too out of character.

Post Script: I think it is a pretty big stretch to compare the bridge scene
to 9/11. I don't see any resemblance beyond the fact that people fell of
the bridge (presumably) to their deaths. If we allow such a wide ranging
standard, you could take virtually any scene in any movie that involves
death and destruction and say it evokes memories of 9/11.

I saw it different. The effect would have been just as dramatic without the people falling.

I hated it dude. If you liked it, good for you. Its an abomanation that I want to forget.
