Jim Thomas, writing for the Sporting News, reports St. Louis Rams CB Tye Hill admitted he was out of shape for his first minicamp. He needs to work on his conditioning before the start of training camp.

Chargers | Cromartie frequently lost during practice

Kevin Acee, writing for the Sporting News, reports San Diego Chargers CB Antonio Cromartie stood out at times during the team's rookie camp for his obvious skills and talent hawking the ball. However, he was lost frequently, especially on the third day when veterans joined in. He was easily duped on routes and at times, went the wrong way.

Jaguars | M. Drew surrenders on assault charge

Bart Hubbuch, of the Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Drew surrendered Friday, May 19, after being charged with felony assault. He was released on $30,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned June 16. Drew faced probation or two to four years in state prison if he is convicted. Drew's agent and attorney, Adisa Bakari, said he had not seen the lawsuit but considers it without merit. He added the would most likely file a countersuit accusing the alleged assault victim, Sabzi Soroush, of a frivolous claim.

The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans RB LenDale White missed practice Friday, May 19, because he was in California for some Reebok work for rookies. Head coach Jeff Fisher said White will return Sunday, May 21.
