Givens sucks compared to Moulds.

Two years ago, I would have agreed. Moulds has been iffy since then.
There's a good possibility he could return to form to be better than Givens.
But for how long? Don't WRs hit the wall when they reach 30? <g>

THey don't lessen the "cash" risk, but lessen the cap hit risk if they,
in effect take it all this year.

No, putting all your cap hit onto one year is always bad, UNLESS you don't
plan on spending to the cap. That's why it was a smart move when Minnesota
did it with Winfield. They were $30M under and had no intention of spending
all that $30M. New England is $20M under, and Johnathan Kraft said they
were going to spend to the cap. It's a different issue because Minnesota
didn't cut players to get down $30M. By spending it all on Seymour this
year, they're saying "screw this year." I hope they're not saying that.
It's dumb.
