Well if they have unused cap space one year they could put his entire
bonus into it (like this year), then if he's injured 2 or 3 years
hence, they have no dead money to write off. So it lessens that risk.
They have much more money then they can spend, unless they put a huge
portion of some signing/extension bonuses in it. They could get in a
bidding war for Moulds (say cap hit of 6M this year), put 7M of
Seymour's bonus in it (or 1/2 to 1/3) and extend Branch and put a good
chunk of his bonus in there and sign the rookies.
I don't know any other high price FA out there other than Moulds (after
he's cut).
They could accomplish everything!
