Why? It would give them more room in the future. Besides, what's the
point of spending cap money if there's no one to spend it on? It
lessens the risk w/ Seymour in case they ever have to cut him due to

No, it doesn't lessen any risk. The signing bonus is the same amount
regardless. Cutting your players so you can take the hit all one year is
silly because it leaves you with crappy players for one year. The window of
opportunity (ie. Brady's peak) is a limited amount of time. They should be
trying to win now instead of putting it off until next year.
Wonder what his signing bonus would be. Probably 10M or so.
Probably closer to $15M or $20M I would think.
