We went to Disney for vacation with the kids in August. A major
rainstorm delays our flight for a couple hours and with my two little
guys getting ansy and my wife is getting stressed out, I need a drink.
The bars at Orlandos departure terminal closed at 8 but a lady says if
I take the monorail over to the main terminal there is a bar open until
9pm. Listening to her was my first mistake. Forgetting my boarding pass
was my second.

I get on the monorail, exit at the main terminal and walk up to this
lady at the security exit. I ask if it's okay that I pass to get a
drink to which she says "sure, no problem". 40 feet later I see that
the bar has closed, so I turn around (having never left her view) and
start to walk past her. She says "sir, you cannot go this way, you have
to go back through security" . I about fell over. I said, "you just
talked to me on my way past 10 seconds ago!" But she wouldn't budge. My
wife calls my cell to see where I'm at, I explain the pickle I've
gotten myself into and that on top of it all, she has to bring the
boarding pass to me because they won't let me through security without
it. She has to drag both kids and all the carry-on luggage to the
monorail, board, exit at the terminal, hand me my stuff without
crossing this security idiots invisible "Line of Death" and I have to
go through the whole process again. It was a very quiet plane ride home
to say the least. Outside of my ringing cell phone, the only weapons I
had on me that security was free to look through was cash and a wallet.
I feel much safer knowing that 1 man armed to the teeth with cash,
leather wallet, and ringing cell phone under no circumsatnces is
allowed to enter the passenger terminal without a card saying so, but a
man can buy a $85.00 ticket, bring a 5 pound bag of powder and gain
access to 67,500 fans.
