Thanks for the links! History was one of my dual majors in college and
histories and biographies of just about anything and anyone have been a
passion since my father took me to see the 1948 movie version of The
Three Musketeers and explained to me that all of the major characters
except Constance, Milady, and Rochefort were actual historical figures
and pointed out which events were historically accurate, such as the
siege of La Rochelle and the assassination of the Duke of Buckingham. I
was hooked!

I have a loaner copy of Cecilia Holland's "Until the Sun Falls" coming in, rare to find copies under $20 of even the used reprint paperback, email me your addy if you want me to send it along to you.
Get you hooked on my favorite author. ;-)




I googled her and saw lots of great reviews of her work, most of which pointed to "Until the Sun Falls" as her best. I'll save you the bother of mailing it and myself the bother of returning it by buying a hardcover copy for 20 bucks I found on Amazon. Thanks for the offer.
