built championship teams with Derek Fisher as their starting point
guard.

This year they could have signed Iverson and didn't -- why not??

Pfffft. Your little tiny point is that he only "started" one third of
the games for Nelson?? He was technically a starter, so whatever, this
changes nothing.


UTH  06-07   Fisher started    61 games out of 82 played, at SG.
Deron Williams stated 80 games.

Come to think of it, perhaps the real secret to why Jackson is a
better coach than Nelson or Sloan is that he knew enough to keep Fish
as his starting PG!!

You can nibble at the technicalities all you want -- I was hoping for
a meal, so I'm throwing you back.


There is only one reasonable explanation [for Fisher's career] -- all
the other things he
brings to the table OUTWEIGH his physical limitations in the eyes of
his coaches, team mates and gms. Anyone who has a theory that he is
shitty 95% of the time and comes through 5% cannot rationally explain
his career without disrespecting the opinion of all the aformentioned
basketball luminaries.
