Then enjoy it while you still can. The shuttle is due to be retired next
year. The Orion spacecraft won't be ready until 2014 at the earliest, so
until then NASA will have to hitch rides on Russian spacecraft. Stupid
policy, IMO. Why retire the shuttle when its replacement won't be ready
for another four years or more?
I haven't been following...do you know how long this will this keep Hubble
operational and what new instruments did they add?
