If he was well below average why did he gets votes for all defense team from the head coaches?
Maybe because I watch all his games I have a better take on it...
The game clip is typical of his capabilities and effort past and present. He does not alway spend his energy at that end, with 2 defensive specialists starting he does not need to.
In the 6 playoff games he had 7 blocks. Including one on Yao who also had 7. Ron had zero. Roy had 8 steals to Ron's 7 in that series.
