Not that I'm a huge proponent of bringing Shaq back to the Lakers,
but maybe it should be considered just to head off any possible
"Terry Teagle Effect."
What a nightmare it would be, for example, if the Celtics landed him
somehow and we had to go into the Finals without Bynum again.
Not going to happen, but,
if he does joined the Celts, that would effectively kill any chance of
having his jersey retired here. Or so I would hope.
Who's the most high-profile, or successful player to wear both Laker and Boston jerseys? Kermit Washington?
Clyde Lovellette maybe. Although he had to flash a kid to do so.
