Re: OT - This isn’t a basketball game…

Politics is not a basketball game yet many want to treat it that way.
There seems to be a fan-based approach to this upcoming election
within the Democratic Party to choose a team and become fan obsessed
about them winning. Instead of shirts vs. skins, Lakers vs. Celtics,
we have Obama vs. Clinton.

What seems to be lost in this political playoff series is logic and
common sense.

Forgive me if don't chuckle at the sheer irony of this post.

The fandom is so great that most people are supporting
with their emotions, rather than their brains.

You'd be example #1?

From the Obama fans I
see a lot of glassy eyed supporters jumping on the bandwagon because
of a fad and it being the "in" thing to do. He’s more of a rock star
than a politician and most of his supporters I’ve talked to don’t
really seem to know what he stands for…but in their opinion he’s the
best person for the job anyway.

You keep saying this over and over and over. What supporting evidence do you have to back up this claim. Obama has the largest slice of support amongst educated voters. But given your "emotional" support of Hillary, without a clue as to what her real positions are, I can see how you would be misinformed. By your logic, being a good speaker means there's no substance to be found. Are you one of those that isn't college educated?

Cheering on the Clinton team – and I am admittedly wearing their
colors – I see supporters giving their hearts and minds to Hillary
because of the 8 years Bill was President and how much better off the
country was back then.

So did Bill invent the internet or something? I was a big part of that economy. Most of the economic bills signed into law were Republican bills. Did you conveniently forget that? Or maybe you are a Republican.

Proof positive that we need to put more funding into education.
