Stayed home from work to watch it.
(Don't tell!)
I especially liked how they applied the big pressure with the defense. Farmar was playing like a MADMAN!
Play of the game: Rip and Sheed try to run the pick and roll... Bynum does a good job stepping out on Rip and Sheed runs to his favorite 3-pt pick and pop stop... Rip delivers the pass and Farmar saw the play happen *before* Rip even saw the pass. He ran at least 20 feet, got the pass the instant it was there.... oh, that was beautiful.
They gotta get Walton outta his funk or whatever it is. He's had several bad ones in a row now. :-(
I make no excuses for him other than he's playing fewer minutes and he's playing with new teammates, i.e. the 2nd string. He's been bad, but I'd put money on him turning it around... it's his defense I'm worried about. He's beens stinking that up as well.
Before you all think I'm seeing silver linings where there aren't any, yes, I realize the Pistons are probably tired and they didn't have Billups.
Doesn't matter, ACBA and the Lakers have lost *plenty* of games they "shouldn't have" and the Pistons have more talent and depth than plenty of the gimmes the Lakers gave up last year.
Still a good effort.
By the 2nd string and Lamar, it was a great effort...
