I still don't get where the "racist" thing comes from. I
do understand that people who hated Aaron when he was
persuing Ruth's record could have (and did have) a racist
basis. Ruth was white and Aaron black. But when a black
man is breaking another black man's record, where does
race play into it? In a country like ours, where racism
is far more pervasive than most people think or are
willing to admit, it seems to me that to cry "racism" in
defense of Bonds is weak and also betrays the weakness of
any defense of him.

He was not. He was shamed in front of the owrl and has dissappeared
from sight.

Public opinion spanked him hard.

Sosa and Palmeiro are the one's that haven't faced the music of their
lies yet.

Sosa's body got big late in his career, and his power increased
dramatically - which might tend to indicate steroid use. But did his
head grow? Sosa may actually be a case of a guy who worked hard to
strengthen himself without juicing. I'd love to see before and after
pix of Sammy to see if his head got bigger.

His neck and shoulders got so big his head actually looks _smaller_.
