Re: Field goal % is NOT important? kobe says...

I'm talking about career stats.

45.2% how do you round that up to 46%????
gosh.. did you fail grade 3 math?

if you want to "ADJUST" kobe's FG%, why don't you adjust Birds' too? then
he'll get like 65%, since Bird was an awwwsoome 3-p shooter.
and Jordan was a solid shooter from beyond the arc too, and also Jordan
constantly took the ball to the hoop during his youth, all those AND-ONES.

howbout all the AND-ONES Shaq / Dream /Duncan / Kareem constantly received?

you're a dumbass who thinks she knows alot, but you don't.

kobe is shooting a pathetic 45%,

46%

good enough as a role player,

How many 3s did those players shoot? Adjusted for 3 pointers Kobe shoots
an effective FGP of over .503 which is about identical to last year's
final's MVPs eFGP.

http://www.82games.com/0607/06LAL7A.HTM

Adjusted for FTs, getting to the line and making them, his "True shooting
percentage" is about the same as Shaq....

but
when the guy takes 30 shots a game.
your team won't ever attain high standings..... this is simple math
that stupid guys like "sports fan" fail to realize.

Effective FGP of over 50%... they give more points for those long range
shots...
