The 330ci has 70k on it and is showing it. Still looks and drives great
but I see every little ding and hear every little rattle. It's paid for
so I figure sell it now and get some decent money, probably around
23-24k, to put down on a new one. I looked at the Audi (S4), Infinity
G35 and M35,45 (nice car but felt too freaking big!) and several
others.

What should I do?

Wait for the M3 or get a 335i Convert now (actually in 3 months)? M3
only about 3 grand more but the 335i is only a little slower than the
current M3 which is pretty damn fast. Plus, the new one is built on a
better platform. I for one like the new "style", of the 3 series
anyway, though many do not.

Tough titty for them. ;-)

Decisions decisions...

No reason to wait for the M3, the tuners will have the twin turbo 335
producing
more horsepower than the M3 with nothing more than an upgraded chip.

Then again you could wait for the new g coupe that comes out this
summer.
Its going to be a stunner not to mention already running 5 flat 60 times
right
out of the box.

The 335 is going to be the tuners dream or nightmare, me, there is no
way in
hell that I would by a bimmer first year production engine, especially
with a
turbo. As for the M3 which is coming out with the V8 with 400 hp,
again,
another 1st year product from a german car maker. If you think what I
am
saying doesn't warrant consideration, google "M3 Sword of damacles" and
see what you come up with. :-)

Jesus

I'm on the list for the V8 M3. I plan to keep the G35 coupe though.

Get off the list. You are going to want to wait for the second year.
There is
going to be so many problems with that car that you will hate yourself
for it. If I ever bought a bimmer it would be third year of production,
you
are counting on nothing but headaches. Bimmer first year customers are
nothing more than R&D guinea pigs.

Jesus

It really all depends on what kind of price
I can get. The guy is telling me it's going to
be over sticker. I am going to lease anyway
so if I can't get a decent price for the M3
then I'll lease the G37.

Now that we are back to talking about this
I need to ask a couple of things over email.
Do I use your gmail or onebox?
