Everything you do is choice. But the choice may be harder for some than
others - esp. when it comes to addictions. Is being a homosexual similar

The answer to the last question is no.

Religion, on the other hand, has many definitions. Some of them address the "belief" side of it, and there are other definitions that focus on "practice".

Religion will always be a choice - no matter what anyone tries to tell
you. I made my choice decades ago to just turn that channel off.

It is a misconception to say that someone "chooses to believe" something. You believe it, or you don't.

That's plain bull - anyone that's read almost anything on the subject
knows that there are two sides and most people choose one or the other.
The agnostics kinda hang out in the middle ground without a clue.

Everyone in the world knows there is no proof of a god and even the major
religious leaders will tell you that. You have to decide somewhere along
the way whether you're about faith or facts.
