Having suspended Kobe for the new "accidental but hard contact

LeBron for the same in the last half minute tonight. Stu,
you're on the clock.

He does not have the history that Kobe does.

The league claims that history does not matter, each incident is
jusged on its merits. Like you, I think they are lying.

Each incident is judged separately, but the punishment dealt out
build for repeat offenders. They have stated as much.

Odd, I've heard Nunn say more than once that they judge each
incident on its own merit. Somebody's lying here! (not you, you're
just the messenger).

The level of the offense is judged seperately. The punishnment is
judged seperately also from how severe the offense and the previous
history of offenses.

But Nunn has showed plays on his show and said that a given action
was an x game suspension*,
and if [this extra had happened] then it
would be a y game suspension and if that had happened it would be a z
game suspension.

For a start. For instance throwing a punch is at least one game. Might be more depending on other
factors including the players history.

There's some disconnect here, but ultimately Nunn
reports to Jackson so Jackson can do whatever he wants - as he is.
Had Kobe's play been before a national TV game on Super Bowl day like
Bron Bron's, you can bet your last dollar that he would not have been
suspended either.

Kobe's was on national TV and they did not call the loose ball foul let alone a flagrant... either
of which would have the lakers losing in regulation.... they called the flagrant on LBJ instead of a
simple foul and it put the game out of reach. Now which was the bigger star piower? ;-)
