Lakers lost a lot of games by 1-2 points, sounds like he may be the
difference.
Yep. With his defense, now they'll lose by 7 or 8 points.
He will make the "over" a more promising play.
Now go back to your cave and pray that Jarron Collins says yes so your own
D doesn't fall to mediocrity.
Please. We are on to much bigger fish with Francisco Elson and Jackie
Butler. We are going for the jackpot this season.
Looks like they will get Elsen, not as good as Collins but achieves the
goal of avoiding exposing Duncan on defense.
Yep. We do need Frqancisco so that people won't ever figure out that
Duncan isn't really a good defender.
He isn't what he used to be, that for sure. I recall Duncan covered
1-5 at one point in his career. Nowaday.....
I don't know that he ever covered a 1 or 2 except in switch
situations, and never that effective. This year he was slowed a bit
because of nagging injuries. It remains to be seen if he will recover
his quickness.
He sure seemed to after getting back to being fully healthy, roughly mid
March according to my team source. No doubt he will continue to lose some
quickness due to age, but anything that could be recovered already has.
Of course a key will be for him to start coasting through regular seasons
to save energy for the playoffs, as is needed at his age. This year's 3
month or so run of foot trouble might have been the best thing that could
have happened to him, as he found that the energy saved during the season
resulted in him being more physically sound this playoffs than he ever has
been at that late point in a season in the past.
Yeah. Anothe rscoring forward (like Luis Scola) would have been nice.
They can and will lean on Tony Parker during the regular season, and
try to bring Manu and TD on towards the end. At the age they are at
now, it's less an energy thing and more a wear and tear thing.
